Piha is a fairly self sufficient town however please note that there is no liquor store, supermarket, petrol or ATM at Piha, so please remember to STOCK UP before heading out! Henderson is a good place to do this.

PLACES TO EAT & DRINK
During the day food is available from the Piha Store and Blairs on the Beach Takeaways.
The dining, drinking and dancing takes place at the local Clubs, the Piha Surf Life Saving Club, Piha Bowling Club and the Piha RSA.(see below) Occasionally there is live entertainment by international and local musicians. Visitors are made welcome at these venues, please remember you are a guest.

Piha Store: Open 7 days from 8:30am until 5:30pm. Stocks basic groceries and serves coffee, pies and other baked goods.

Blairs on the Beach: During summer months and on weekends "Blairs on the Beach" is open for Takeaways and has the Best Chips in the West.

Piha RSA: The local's local. Open 7 days year-around. from 4:30pm for Bar and 5:30pm Restaurant. (Kitchen closed on Mondays in winter) Big decks, Pool Table, great food, go the raza! Ph: (09) 812-8138

SURF SHOPS :
